We've launched four new Datarova plans, and we wanted to answer the questions you're most likely to have. If anything isn't covered here, contact support and we'll help.
You don't need to do anything. If you're on one of our current plans (Basic, Pro, Business, or Enterprise), nothing changes for you: same plan, same price, same features. But if you'd like access to the new features, and there are some good ones, you can move to a new plan whenever you want.
Your current plan stays exactly as it is. The four new plans are separate from the existing ones. Your usage limits, features, and billing all stay the same, and the new features are only available on the new plans.
What are the new features?
What are the new features?
The new plans unlock features like API access, a Google Sheets integration, new keyword rank track views, a BSR tracker, team members, notes on keyword ranks, keyword and ASIN suggestions, and more. Here's the full rundown of what's new.
What are the new plans?
What are the new plans?
There are four: Starter, Professional, Team, and Agency. Each one steps up the number of projects, keywords, ASINs, team members, and API requests you get. You can see a full side-by-side comparison here.
Why are you launching new plans?
Why are you launching new plans?
We've built a lot of new features over the past while, and we wanted plans that scale properly with how sellers actually use Datarova, whether you're tracking a handful of products or running an agency. The new plans give you room to grow and access to the newest features.
I'm on Pro or Business. Is that the same as the new Professional or Team plan?
I'm on Pro or Business. Is that the same as the new Professional or Team plan?
No. The new plans are separate from the old ones, and the similar names don't carry across. Being on our old Pro plan doesn't put you on the new Professional plan, and being on Business doesn't put you on Team. The new features come with the new plans only, so your current plan doesn't include them. Your old plan keeps working exactly as it does now, and if you'd like a new plan and its features, you can switch to it.
Can I pay annually?
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Each new plan can be paid monthly or annually. Paying annually saves you up to 26% compared with paying month to month. You'll see both options when you switch.
Is there a deal for existing users?
Is there a deal for existing users?
Yes. As a thank you for being with us, you can use the code OG30 for 30% off any of the new plans (except the Starter plan), on either monthly or annual billing. If you pay annually and apply the code, the savings stack, so you can get up to 46% off. The discount will apply to the lifetime of your plan. The code is only valid for 30 days from the day the new plans launch. To see your discounted price, just open the plans page with the code already applied.
Will I pay more?
Will I pay more?
If you stay on your current plan, your price doesn't change. If you choose to switch to a new plan, you'll see that plan's price before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
What happens if I'm partway through my billing cycle when I switch?
What happens if I'm partway through my billing cycle when I switch?
If you upgrade partway through your billing period, the cost is pro-rated. You're charged for the rest of the period at the new plan's rate, taking into account what you've already paid, so you're not paying twice. You'll see the exact amount before you confirm.
Can I switch back to my old plan?
Can I switch back to my old plan?
No. When the new plans launch on 15 July, the old plans (Basic, Pro, Business, and Enterprise) close to changes and to new or returning subscribers. You can stay on your current old plan for as long as you like, but you won't be able to switch to a different old plan, and once you move to a new plan you won't be able to move back. You can always change between the new plans, though.
Can I stay on my current plan?
Can I stay on my current plan?
For now, yes. Nothing is changing for the existing plans. You keep your plan and all your features, you pay the same as you do today, and we'll never automatically move you to a new plan or charge you more. If anything does change further down the line, we'll always let you know well in advance.
I've been using beta features. What happens to them?
I've been using beta features. What happens to them?
Some users have had beta access to newer features while on a legacy plan. That beta access ended on July 15, when the new plans launched. Those features are part of the new plans now, so if you'd like to keep using them, you can move to a new plan. If this applies to you, we've already sent you a separate email with the details.
Will my data and settings carry over if I switch?
Will my data and settings carry over if I switch?
Yes. Switching to a new plan doesn't touch your account data. Your projects, tracked keywords, ASINs, and history all stay exactly where they are. You're just changing the plan around them.
Will I lose any features I use now?
Will I lose any features I use now?
Not if you stay on your current plan. If you switch to a new plan, it's worth checking the comparison table first so you can pick the tier that covers everything you rely on.
When does this happen?
When does this happen?
The new plans went live on July 15. From that date they'll be the plans available to sign up for, and the current plans closed to new and returning subscribers. If you're already on a current plan, this doesn't affect you. You keep it, exactly as it is.
If I change to a new plan, will I lose my keyword rank history?
If I change to a new plan, will I lose my keyword rank history?
No. You'll always have access to the keyword rank history since you started tracking that keyword.
